Data Entry Clerk – data entry work from home

We are in need of a devoted and organized Data Entry Clerk who can assist us in transferring enormous volumes of information into our new database and in keeping our records up to date as we collect new data.

We anticipate that you will work effectively and transfer data in a timely manner while maintaining the highest possible level of precision.


Candidates with previous experience in data entry are preferred, but if the appropriate individual comes along, we are happy to train them.

Performing Duties and Responsibilities of a Data Entry Clerk

Transfer information from a variety of sources into the newly created database.

Keep any databases or records up to date by adding any new information as soon as it’s accessible.

Modify and correct any inaccuracies in the files and records.

Ensure that correct data saving and storage is being done by adhering to standard backup procedures and conducting routine checks.

Paper formats, paper backups, and material source files should all be organized as necessary.



Requirements and Prerequisites for a Data Entry Clerk Position

A diploma from high school or its equivalent is required.

Previous experience in data entry, or equivalent experience in a relevant field, is strongly preferred.

Skilled in the use of Microsoft Word and Excel Capable of typing and entering data in a timely and accurate manner; It is preferred if you have experience with touch typing.

Attention to detail

Exceptional capacities in both communication and organizing.
