We are on the lookout for a dynamic, passionate, and highly DevOps Engineer III to join our thriving technology team. Responsibilities:
As a DevOps Engineer III, you will:
1. Design, implement, and maintain the company’s cloud infrastructure using AWS, GCP, and Terraform.
2. Leverage Kubernetes/EKS for container orchestration, ensuring the seamless deployment, scaling, and management of applications.
3. Utilize Docker to automate the deployment, scaling, and management of applications.
4. Create, test, and deploy scripts using Bash, Python, or similar languages to automate tasks and improve workflows.
5. Collaborate with development teams to identify and fix issues in the production environment, ensuring high availability and performance of the applications.
6. Participate in on-call rotations to handle and resolve critical issues.
7. Develop and maintain documentation for systems, processes, and procedures.
8. Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies, and implement them as appropriate to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the operations.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate for the DevOps Engineer III position should have:
1. A minimum of 5-7 years of hands-on experience with container orchestration, preferably using Kubernetes/EKS.
2. Proficiency in using AWS, Terraform, GCP, and Docker.
3. Strong scripting experience with Bash, Python, or similar languages.
4. A proven track record of designing, implementing, and maintaining complex cloud infrastructures.
5. Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues.
6. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
7. A strong desire to learn and adapt to new technologies and challenges.
8. A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
