Responsibilities
The Implementation Coordinator creates and executes the implementation plans for new MCP product customers. Implementations will include establishing and managing customer on-boarding plans which include: cloud environment build and testing, data provisioning, customer user access set-up and product training for new customer users and other related work-streams. Incumbent will frequently engage with customers to develop timelines, milestones and resources required for successful product implementation. Has overall responsibility for planning, executing, coordinating and delivering activities pertaining to assigned implementations including ensuring goals are well-defined and aligned with business objectives, identifying tasks required to meet goals, and taking accountability for schedules and budgets. Manages cloud environment build teams and other implementation project team members. Requires significant capacity to manage multiple simultaneous implementations, competing objectives, prioritize, and communicate information clearly to management and customer end users. Facilitates problem-solving, decision-making and change management, taking prudent actions to accomplish implementation objectives under minimal supervision. Actively manages issues, risks, action items and change control in accordance with documented practices. Regularly provides accurate and up-to-date implementation status information to leadership and stakeholders.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree required in business, healthcare, information technology or other related professional degree and 6 or more years of technical project management experience with responsibilities for small/medium project management activities is required.
PMI Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification preferred. Candidates should also include any certifications they have, which may include but are not necessarily limited to Certified Scrum Master (CSM), Advanced Certified Scrum Master (A-CSM), PMI Agile Certified Practitioner, and/or Certified Scrum Professional (CSP).
Possesses strong broad-based knowledge of project management methodologies, standards, and tools. Ability to work in complex environment with multi-dimensional points of view. Incumbent must be comfortable with ambiguity and be able to inspire trust and confidence, and communicate effectively with internal stakeholders, external customers and partners to achieve business objectives. Must be proficient in use of various project management tools, processes and information technology. Demonstrated leadership skills, including team-building, performance management, conflict resolution, negotiation, and problem solving. May need to manage multiple projects concurrently.
Project Management Institute’s PMP (Project Management Professional) project management certification is preferred for this position, and is viewed as an indication of the project manager’s commitment to understanding and using Project Management best practices and their commitment to project management as a profession.
