Job Description

In this role as a Clinical Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in the introduction and adoption of the new FORS (Fiber Optic RealShape) technology that enables real-time 3D visualization of the full shape of devices inside the body without the need for fluoroscopy thus allowing us to break through the current limitations of image guided therapy by reducing the dependency on fluoroscopy while seeing intra-body devices more clearly.

Your role:
• The FORS Clinical Specialist will provide clinical and technical product expertise, in-lab product support and educate the end-users to maximize the product’s performance for the user. They will execute clinical and sales strategies to drive adoption of the solution in assigned sites. They will monitor the use of each product, gather evidence on the performance, capture and address the complaints and inquiries made by customers, in order to obtain a high level of customer satisfaction. They will openly communicate with physicians, nurses, RTs, study investigators, and research coordinators through product demonstrations and presentations as part of sales support, broader awareness generation, and receiving feedback. They will collaborate with internal Philips teams on emerging issues in the field and provide actionable feedback to continuously improve the design of the products/solutions and execute testing, evaluation and validation of new functionality in the clinical context.
• The FORS venture, is an entrepreneurial, multidisciplinary team that acts as a start-up in the larger corporation, tasked to build a new business whilst leveraging the competencies of the broader Philips organization. In the FORS venture you will be joining the FORS business team which is responsible for the clinical, marketing, sales and business development activities for this new and exciting medical device.

You’re the right fit if:
• You’ve acquired 1+ years of rich clinical experience in the hospital setting within vascular surgery, interventional radiology, or interventional cardiology, involving single-use endovascular devices. Preference for experience in aortic endovascular repair.
• Your skills include proven ability to implement and communicate out of the box solutions in practice, ability to effectively manage assigned accounts for driving utilization, customer relationship management, and problem resolution. They also include a drive to consistently improve clinical and sales acumen as well as relationship skills, and a professional presence that influences desired results with external and internal partners.
• You have a bachelor’s degree or equivalent education. Radiologic Technologist (RT) or Registered Nurse (RN) preferred.
• You must be able to successfully perform the following minimum Physical, Cognitive and Environmental job requirements with or without accommodation for this Sales position.
