Job Description
The NVIDIA Datacenter organization is seeking an experienced technology professional for the position of Remote Data Scientist to support initiatives for the Operation Data Platforms Reporting, and Analytics Organization for our DGX™ and other Datacenter products. As a Data Scientist in our team, you will be an integral part of the team in Operations that is building the Operations Data Platform to turn data into business insights and results. You will develop key insights and use those insights to enable our business key users and management to drive business strategies
What You’ll Be Doing
- Support implementation of the End-to-End Ops Data platform for our Datacenter products
- Build and deploy scalable prediction algorithms by applying statistical analytics and Machine Learning (ML) to accelerate the root cause analysis of production issues and NPI products.
- Identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets using structured/unstructured data techniques and apply supervised and unsupervised learning techniques
- Acquire and apply domain knowledge of the product and software stack to identify and drive the resolution of data inconsistencies and improve model performance. Develop frameworks for data ingestion and processing
- Improve data collection procedures to include all relevant information for developing analytic systems. Process, cleanse, and validate the integrity of data to be used for analysis
- Present results and propose solutions and strategies to solve problems business challenges. Build visualization tools and reports
What We Need To See
- Master’s degree in Data Science, Computer science, Operations Research, Statistics or related quantitative field (or equivalent experience)
- 10+ years of experience
- Demonstrable Experience as Data Analyst or Data Scientist with solid background knowledge and practical experience in probability, statistics, predictive performance, and AI/ML. Significant applied statistical skills, including knowledge of statistical tests, distributions, regression, maximum likelihood estimators, etc.
- Outstanding coding skills, including the ability to write readable, testable, maintainable and extensible code (primarily SQL and Python). Knowledge of common tools for data storage and processing (e.g. Spark, Hadoop Map/Reduce, Hive, Cassandra) including drilling into problems of running large scale software in a big network
- Proven hands on experience in data cleaning, aggregation, transformation and extraction. Experience of time series analysis. Experience in active ML production pipelines(MlFlow, KubeFlow)
- Machine Learning – knowledge of machine learning methods like k-Nearest Neighbors, Naive Bayes, SVM, Decision Forests, Deep Learning and an understanding of how to use pre-trained models for different cases
- Superb Interpersonal Skills – it is exceptionally meaningful to describe findings to a technical and non-technical audience. Problem-solving proficiency and analytical mind and great business sense
- Experience using Splunk is a plus

The base salary range is $160,000 – $247,250. Your base salary will be determined based on your location, experience, and the pay of employees in similar positions.
